A web search shows version 5.6.1.2 is available as of October 28, 2021. I’m hesitant to download the software from a 3rd party site. Where can I find this version on Metageek? ---

That is where I downloaded version 5.5 this morning! Techspot shows a version 5.6.1.2 downloadable from their website. What is the latest official version? I have the same issue as reported in ticket INSSID-503. The issue is still present in v5.5, and I was hoping it was resolved in a subsequent update. ---

When might the next release of inSSIDer be released? Will it include a fix for ticket INSSID-503? Thanks! ---

Thanks for asking about this, @user43! We don’t have a target release date for the next version of inSSIDer 5 at this time, but we are planning a follow-up to our inSSIDer 5.5 release at some point in the future. Additionally, while I do have support for Protected Management Frames in the backlog, this one probably isn’t going to get implemented very soon. So far, we’ve only received one (maybe two) requests for Protected Management Frame support, which makes it difficult to put in front of other feature requests that we’ve received. I will keep it in the backlog though in hopes of getting it into the product at some point in the future. Thanks, and let me know if you have any other questions or comments!
