Vodafone Super Router 6E - unable to change channel

Hello, I’ve just changed Vodafone Broadband package and I’ve beensent a “Super Wi-Fi 6 E wireless router.

Try as I might to manually change the channel, I can’t. I’ve got their app - rubbish and I can get into the router settings but there’s no option there to change anything as it reports “Super Wi-Fi is running your Wi-Fi settings.”

I was told the performance of this new router might not be better than the older model - and it’s slightly worse.

I think I have read that it’s a Vodafone security issue. If that is the case then it seems like I’m stuck with it, though I have my `cooling off period’ during which time it can be returned.
